Information Meeting – Classical Conversations
Classical Conversations desires to lead the home-centered education movement by equipping parents and students with the classical tools of learning. These “lost tools” allow students to discover the order and beauty of God’s creation, and inspires a desire to study it more deeply.

In our Challenge program (for students in Middle School and High School) we help teens to use those tools to reason, debate, create, and express themselves in a persuasive and articulate manner.   We empower and support parents and students through our Classical Conversations Communities.  We currently have openings in our Rochester NH community.

Join us at this special information meeting geared toward students ages 12-18.

Tuesday, August 13
6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

29 Ledgeview Drive
Rochester NH

RSVP’s appreciated!

Amy has started a new Group: Waldorf Farm-based Co-op
We are beginning a one day a week co-op at our small farm in Derry, NH based on the philosophies of Waldorf education. The whole child will be addressed in the program (with activities that engage the head, heart, and hands). The children and parents will work on projects together, celebrate festivals as a community, and explore the seasons and rhythms at the farm. The program will be for ages 6-10 (with younger and older siblings welcome). Activities will include wilderness education, sheep shearing and processing, native american crafts, greenhouse gardening, gardening in the spring, edible plants, natural dying, animal care, and other subjects that the group would like to pursue. Please let me know if you are interested. A group gathering is being planned for the week of Aug. 26 to plan the year and solidify the group.
If you have a 6 to 10 year old and want to be a part of a Waldorf education, please visit the group page for Waldorf Farm-based Co-op.

Jazmine has started a new Group: Preschool Playmakers
Coop for little ones  3-5 years old, to meet Wednesday or Thursday every week for fun learning/preschool activities and organized field trips. Parents will take turn planning or hosting. I have purchased Before Five in a Row and will base my activities (when it's my turn planning on those), if this is a curriculum you're using perhaps we can have a separate "classroom" session based off of that.  If you have a preschooler and want to join in the fun, visit the group page for Preschool Playmakers.
