AUGUST EVENTS & CLUB REGISTRATIONS  Vol. 1

JUNIOR NERF CLUB

I have just posted the information below about Home School Nerf Club, but since I have had so many inquiries about our younger home schoolers joining, I thought I would put out feelers for a Mini (younger) Home School Nerf Club. 

All the information below is the same for both clubs except this Mini (younger children) session would run from 12 - 1:15,  and it would be for ages 6 - 10. The games would be geared to their level, including more theme games like superheros, or cowboys, etc., and little parties for valentine’s day etc.. It will also be a smaller group.

I will only be able to do this younger session if I have a large enough enrollment, so am just putting out feelers at this point. If you are interested, please let me know quickly because I will need to reserve the gym and get set up. I think it would be so much fun for the little guys! 8 and up are still welcome to join the regular Home School Nerf Club, but I just thought I would see if people are interested in this option. HOMESCHOOL NERF CLUB

The Home School Nerf Club is starting up it's 4th year of fun and excitement! I will start taking reservations this week for our 2013-2014 year. Last year we filled up quickly and had to go to a waiting list, so if you are interested, please let me know right away.

We meet on the second Tuesday of the month (September through June) from 1:30 - 2:45, in Bow, at a fabulous gymnastics center, where we use the mats and equipment for forts and walls, while playing many organized and supervised games with Nerf Guns. 

The kids bounce off of tramps and over obstacles during our games of Capture the Flag, Last Man Standing, Castle, and MANY others each month. We have special events for holidays, and a tournament with prizes and a trophy at the end of the year.  

Our members are homeschoolers who range from ages 8 to 18, and they have had an absolute blast! Good sportsmanship, and team work are stressed, and many new friendships are made. The gym is completely padded and our rules and organization keep it all safe and fun. It is $9 per session. WEARE HOME EDUCATORS

Weare Home Educators (WHE) is a support group established in 2005 for New Hampshire homeschooling families in the Weare, NH area. Families from all over central and southern NH participate in our events and field trips. Our goal is to offer support to new and veteran homeschoolers through our web resources, unique classes and field trips, and to provide opportunities to create lasting friendships for your whole family.

Participating with WHE

You can participate as much or as little as you like, so your level of commitment is up to you! We don't charge membership fees to participate in our group activities, though the activities themselves sometimes require payment to cover our costs.  Our group varies depending on the event. Some attend our classes, others attend only field trips.

We have a large group of homeschoolers who participate in TaeKwonDo at the Goffstown Park & Rec on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The 2013-2014 schedule is online so check out what will be offered starting in September. Registrations for events and field trips open August 1. Our co-op classes for this year are full. SUPER 8 MOVIE TEAM  (Ages 13-18)
You have seen the movie, now let's have our own team! We are looking for actors, script writers, directors, videographers and editors, special effects, etc. If you have a passion for anything to do with producing movies, this is the team for you!

We are based in Chester, NH and will work out schedules and locations along with team members. After the team is formed, we will have a planning meeting at everyone's earliest convenience.  When you RSVP please let us know which skills you would like to offer the team so we can make sure all of the team positions get filled.
